this game must win game of the year, been looking at other games and stuff on this site ( i just signed up ) and i really wanna get this game, i hope it wins game of the year, i won't be able to buy it as i pre-ordered assassins creed and MW2 before i knew about this game, i hope i can win this competition going to browse site for next hour so i can WIN = uncharted 2 for game of the year

Well sadly I just spent a fortune on pre-ordering DJ Hero and other games before I knew how awesome it was going to be. Then because I missed out on the first game I did pick up a copy of that for much less. I am working on crushing difficulty right now for my first platinum trophy. I will love on Uncharted 2 if I win it for sure.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising looks pretty interesting. Konami really took the Metal Gear series in a new direction with this one. I will definitely be getting this game whenever it comes out.

Great game. I was laughing my head off by ten minutes into it because it is just so over the top (in a good way). Nathan Drake has the worst luck, and yet is the luckiest tard alive to survive the catastrophes thrown his way.
I find it even better on the second play through. Am able to really explore and apprciate the little details. Like the village in the Tibetian mountains - kicking a soccer ball with children and they are laughing, the potter at his wheel making a jug, the farmer tilling his little garden - amazing stuff. And the incredible depth of the environment visuals - looking for miles down a valley over a cliff side and then turning to look way up a mountainside and it is all seemlessly real feeling.
The expectations were so high following all the 10/10 reviews (Adam Sessler saying it is the best single player experience he's played) that I was expecting something that couldn't really be fulfilled. The game just seemed "human" as opposed to "godlike" on the first go around. It seemed like a very familiar game (after having played Drakes Forune) with improvements.
But then the second play (as already stated) really, really, really impressed me. Even the fighting is enjoyable because of the improved sense of control which exists in this version of Uncharted. Nathan Drake and crew are a fantastic group of gaming characters. I hope we get to experience more adventures with them in the future.
I haven't yet tried the multiplayer but I imagine that it will be real fun given the complexity of the locations of the maps. For example, the urban city in Nepal. I spend tons of time just running around it exploring multiple routes for traversing for A to B by C or D or E or F. Such multiplicity of movement options just didn't exist in the first game. If we can get all over the map in the multiplayer version then expect the unexpected in terms of where you'll find bullets coming at you from. Good stuff.
